Key rules

  • § 2.4.2p. 2-11

Check mirror adjustment before every trip, with the trailer straight. Set each mirror to show some part of your vehicle so you have a reference point.

Seeing to the Sides and Rear

  • § 2.4.2p. 2-11

Convex mirrors show a wider area than flat mirrors, but everything in them looks smaller and seems farther away than it really is. Allow for this when judging space.
