A real Texas Rules question.
This is the kind of Texas-only detail that sinks people on test day.
Texas Rules · Size, weight and load limits
The deck of your flatbed trailer is 5 feet above the ground. Without a special permit, what is the tallest machine you may legally load onto it in Texas?

Why it matters
The tests are short. Failing them isn't.
80%
to pass every test
Miss one question in five and you're retaking it. Each test is scored on its own.
1st
Texas Rules comes first
It's a Texas-only test on state limits and equipment rules. A national practice test never asks about it.
3
strikes and you start over
Fail three times, or run past 90 days, and your application is void: new application, new fees.

FAQ
Questions drivers ask.
Are these the real test questions?+
No. Real test questions are kept secure and nobody can legally sell them. These are original questions written from the official handbook, so you learn exactly what the tests cover.
Is this from the state of Texas?+
No. It's an independent study tool, not affiliated with the Texas Department of Public Safety. The handbook is free from the state, and every question shows you the page.
Does it renew?+
No. $49 covers 60 days and then simply ends. There's nothing to cancel.
Do I need to download an app?+
No. It runs in your phone's browser, so there's nothing to install. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and it opens like an app.
What if I've never driven a truck?+
Start with the free check. It works out what you already know and builds from there.
Which tests does it cover?+
All four Texas Class A knowledge tests: Texas Commercial Rules, General Knowledge, Combination Vehicles and Air Brakes.
Does this count as ELDT training?+
No. Entry-Level Driver Training must come from a registered provider. Use this to pass the knowledge tests.
What if I switch phones?+
Open Restore my pass on the new phone and enter the email you paid with and your card's last 4 digits. Your pass switches on there.
