Ohio CDL permit practice test

A Ohio Class A learner permit (CLP) takes three knowledge tests: General Knowledge, which every applicant takes; Combination Vehicles; and Air Brakes, if your truck has air brakes (Ohio CDL Manual (HSY 7605), July 2026, 1.1.1, p. 1-5). You need 80% on each test, the federal rule for every state (49 CFR 383.135).
